HOW DOES GOTENNIS WORK?

Our system is super easy to use!
Subscribe (for free) and then your game is only a couple of clicks away:

1.  Plan your next tennis game when and where you want.

2.  Our system will propose to you the most optimal player/friend and finds a tennis court based on your preferences.

3.  Send a game request.

4.  Let our system do the work & get back to you with answers/alternatives.

Don’t pay any subscription… with us you only pay when you actually play!

To offer you the very best experience, we made partnerships with tennis clubs and built our own courts.

We make sure to have available tennis courts at anytime you want! Even between 6pm-9pm!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REQUESTED A GAME?

Now our algorithm begins to work:

=> it contacts the tennis partner you asked

=> after a while it starts to contact others that are a good fit

  • If the person you asked accepts: your game is planned & you will receive a confirmation
  • If another person accepts: you will be asked to confirm & then it’s done
  • If you don’t hear from us for a bit, don’t panic, we are working to get you a match arranged.

If in doubt, check “My Games” under your profile  

HOW CAN I KNOW MY LEVEL? AND CAN I CHANGE IT?

When you register, we ask you to choose a level. 
They basically correspond to:

Beginners are: LEVEL 1 to 2

Intermediates are: LEVEL 2.5 to 4

Advanced are: 4.5 to 6

AND….YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE IT IN YOUR PROFILE

HOW DO I PLAY WITH A FRIEND?

To play with a friend you need to: 

  • Sign in (or register)
  • Click on the “Find me a game” button
  • Click on the “Play with a friend” button
  • Write the FULL & COMPLETE name with what your friend registered (they need to be GoTennis members)
  • Select the day & time you would like to play
  • Click on the “Send a request to this player” button

AND IF I WANT TO PLAY IN MY TENNIS CLUB?

If you already are a member of a club
OR
If you want to play in a club that is not in our list:

 1/ In the club, ask the person responsible if they know about GoTennis 

2/ Send us an email: admin@gotennis.eu with the name of
the tennis club you would like to play in & other information that the person responsible gives you + his/her email address

3/ We will contact them and ask for a collaboration!

And voila, with luck you will be playing there in no time 😄

HOW DO I INDICATE TO OTHER PLAYERS THAT I AM AVAILABLE?

If you want other players to know the dates & hours of your availability:

  • When you register to GoTennis: indicate the right days/times of your availability
  • Don’t forget that the algorithm only proposes games that are corresponding to the timing you indicated on your profile
  • Have a look at your profile & change the dates whenever you want, so that the algorithm proposes you more game offers!

CAN I CONTACT MY PARTNER?

Yes! You can contact your partner directly on
the App once the game is confirmed!

  • Go on our App
  • Sign in
  • Go to the “Chat” function
  • Click the partner with whom you are going to play 
  • Discuss together! 😉

ALSO, YOUR TENNIS PARTNERS RECEIVE AN EMAIL NOTIFICATION ONCE YOU HAVE WRITTEN THEM.

WHAT IF MY PARTNER IS LATE OR DOESN'T SHOW UP?

Ask him/her through the app if they are on their way.

If they are more than 10 minutes late: send us an email (admin@gotennis.eu)

If it happens, we are very sorry 😮 we will investigate and give you the money back 💸

HOW MUCH IS IT?

Between  €7  –  €11    per person

(depending on different clubs)

 

Evenings & weekends are crazy busy and often there are no tennis courts available. So to make sure you get to play also in those times, we made partnerships with different tennis clubs to have an exclusive access for GoTennis!! It costs us a bit more, but you can play whenever you want AND don’t have to pay the subscription fees that clubs require…

HOW DO I PAY?

If you want to add money to your wallet:

1/ GO on your profile and click the “My GoTennis Wallet” button,

2/ Select the amount of money you want to top up!

The payment is secured by Paypal and you can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express 

You don’t need to have a Paypal account! 

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL/CHANGE A GAME?

If the request has been accepted: ✅

Write to your partner to explain why you need to cancel the game.

Go to your profile &  under “Upcoming games” select the “delete my game” button

Send an explanation to admin@gotennis.eu

If the request hasn’t yet been accepted : ❌

Go to your profile & under ‘Pending invitations’ select “Cancel Invitation”

If the deletion is done early enough to find a replacement for you: we refund you.

If it is too late: we apply a small penalty as we have already paid for the court.

If you are cancelling an invitation, no worries, it’s free & you will automatically get your money back.
